Whistle can integrate with your Protel account via a recurring emailed report to facilitate automated messages to your guests.
Setup
Reach out to Protel support team for assistance with creating and scheduling a reservation report.

Create a reservation report (csv or excel) containing the following guest data;

Schedule the reservation report to be sent (repeatedly) to your Whistle platform integration email

To find your platform integration email

Go to the Company -> Integrations section inside Whistle

Click the Import Reservations by Email banner
- Click Generate Email
- Provide email to Protel support to send report
- Email support@trywhistle.com once the report is completed and sent

- Whistle support will complete the integration connection
- Once enabled, a timestamp will be displayed next to 'Import Reservations by Email' banner of when we last received data from Protel
- Contact support@trywhistle.com with any issues

- Exports will be emailed automatically when the normal night audit procedure is run by the hotel staff
To Manually Sync:
- If a hotel wants to send additional Export reports to Whistle for more frequently data updates, they can do so from the PMS by going to Reports > Exports > Generic Report
- Enter the date range to export and email it directly to Whistle by entering their hotel specific Whistle email (Step 2a)
