Whistle can integrate with your Wheelbase account through Zapier to facilitate automated messages to your guests.
Zapier account required to complete the integration
*Note* a free Zapier account has a limit to the number of monthly automations (100)
Setup
Step 1: Enable Wheelbase integration in Whistle

Go to the Company -> Integrations section inside Whistle

Click the enable button next to the Wheelbase banner
- This will generate a username and password needed to complete the integration
Step 2: Create Zap in Zapier
- In Zapier, click + Create Zap
- App Event - Search Wheelbase
- Trigger Event - New or Updated Reservation
- Click Continue
- Sign in to your Wheelbase account
- Action - Webhooks by Zapier
- Action Event - POST
- Click Continue
- Enter URL: https://api.trywhistle.com/wheelbase/webhook?company=[SLUG]
- Replace [SLUG] with your Whistle Team name
- You can find this in your desktop browser url: [slug].trywhistle.com
- Select Payload Type - JSON
- Set Basic Auth - USERNAME|PASSWORD
- The USERNAME and PASSWORD are the credentials generated in Step 1. When adding them to Zapier, please notice the "|" that is in between them
- Click Continue
- Click Test & Continue or Test & Review (Enable Zap)

Once enabled, a timestamp will be displayed next to Wheelbase banner of when we last received data from Wheelbase
