A2P 10DLC SMS Registration – Whistle (Legacy)

Improve message delivery and carrier filtering.

A2P 10DLC refers to a system in the United States that allows businesses to send Application-to-Person (A2P) type messaging via standard 10-digit long code (10DLC) phone numbers.

Beginning September 1, 2021, all Whistle customers will need to register their business for A2P 10DLC. You will need to follow the instructions below, in order to fill out your business information and submit your application.

Step 1 - Head to SMS Settings

Please navigate to the Company tab, select Messaging Services, and click Edit Settings in the SMS card.

Step 2 - Provide Your Business Information

A new window will open, titled A2P 10DLC Registered Messaging. Please provide the required Authorized Representative and Business Information in the fields.

Once you have filled out all of the required fields, click Submit Registration.

Providing false information could result in additional fees, penalties, and other repercussions by telecom providers.

Step 3 - Submission Status

If your submission is successful, your status will change to Approved within a few minutes after submission.
