Step 2: Setup Home Page
Enable and edit the options you want displayed on your property's home page.
- Go to the Company tab inside Whistle
- Select the Guest Book section
- In the Home page section, under Sections scroll to enable/disable options, edit values or add new sections with the plus icon
- Click Save at the top of the sections page to protect edits made

ADD
- Under Navigation Links, click Add Link
- Select an Icon
- Enter Title
- Search/Paste Link URL
- Click Confirm
EDIT
- Under Navigation Links, next to the title you wish to edit, click the Pencil Icon
- Update the Icon, Title or Link
- Click Confirm
DELETE
- Under Navigation Links, next to the title you wish to remove, click the red Trashcan Icon
- Click Confirm
Feature Slides
ADD
- Under Feature Slides, click Add Slide
- Enter Title
- Add Link URL
- Upload Image
EDIT
- Under Feature Slides, click on the Title or Link URL to edit
DELETE
- Under Feature Slides, next to the slide you wish to remove, click the red Trashcan Icon
- Click Confirm
Contact Info
ADD
- Under Contact Info, click Add Contact
- Select Type
- Enter Title
- Enter Value
EDIT
- Under Contact Info, click on the Type, Title or Value to edit
DELETE
- Under Contact Info, next to the contact you wish to remove, click the red Trashcan Icon
- Click Confirm

Step 3: Adjust Settings
Update your Home Page link/site settings.
- Go to the Company tab inside Whistle
- Select the Guest Book section
- In the Home Page section, click Settings to update link/site settings
- Page Title
- Description
- Thumbnail (Recommended 1024px wide)
- Click Save
Step 4: Edit Pages
Update preset pages with your property's information.
- Go to the Company tab inside Whistle
- Select the Guest Book section
- Under Pages, click the Page you wish to update
- Check-In
- Check-Out
- Housekeeping
- Local Activities
- Rooms Information
- Wifi Instructions
- Disable or Delete Page
- Edit the Page Contents
- Click Save
Step 5: Add New Page
Add new pages with your property's information.
- Go to the Company tab inside Whistle
- Select the Guest Book section
- Click the + (plus sign) next to Pages
- Enter Title
- Upload image for Thumbnail (Recommended 1024px wide)
- Enter Page Content
- Click Create Page
Step 6: Update Page Directory
Update your page directory link/site settings.
- Go to the Company tab inside Whistle
- Select the Guest Book section
- In the Page Directory section, update link/site settings
- Page Title
- Description
- Thumbnail (Recommended 1024px wide)
- Click Save
Step 7: Preview
- Go to the Company tab inside Whistle
- Select the Guest Book section
- Hover over the page you wish to view, click the Eye icon that appears to the right
Step 8: Send
- While in an open message or when setting up an automated message, select the Variable icon
- Hover over Whistle
- Select Guest Portal Link
Step 9: Automate
- Go to the Automation tab inside Whistle
- Select the Automated Messages section
- Click the message you want to update or select the 3 dot icon
- Click Edit
- Scroll down to your message box and click Variables
- Select Whistle > Guest Portal Link
- Click Update
