Manage your reservations stored in Whistle.
Reservations
Guest data is either synced from a PMS integration or manually upload to Whistle > Reservations.
Whistle also allows reservations to support multiple guests!

Add
- Go to the Reservations tab inside Whistle
- Click the Add Reservation button at the top right
- Fill out Reservation Details (include arrival and departure date for guest to get automated messages enabled)
- Click Save
Edit
- Go to the Reservations tab inside Whistle
- Search and select the Guest you wish to update
- Add new phone number to guest by clicking + Add Channel
- Enter Number
- Click Confirm
- Edit guest details by clicking the pencil icon
- Update guest info
- Click Save
- Edit reservation details if needed
- Click Save
Upload
- Go to the Reservations tab inside Whistle
- Click Upload at the top right
- Select saved PMS/Reservation system report with arriving guest data;
- Reservation Id
- Status (RESERVED, CANCELLED, CHECKED_IN, CHECKED_OUT) ***
- First Name
- Last Name
- Phone *
- Arrival **
- Departure **
- Room
- Notes
- Upload settings will appear, make sure ALL columns have the correct titles
- Enter Title for upload template - PMS/Reservation name
- Select Skip First Row box to not upload first report titles
- Click Confirm

[Phone] Format phone number cell in Plain Text format.

[Phone] International Phone numbers must have country code.

[Phone] Phone number spaces, parentheses, and dashes are ok and will be removed

[Arrival/Departure] dates should be formatted as Date or Date time.

[Status] Sets the Reservation status, CANCELLED reservations will be removed.
- Red bar may appear after you upload file, this informs you what rows were not imported due to incorrect data (e.g. not valid phone numbers)
Filter
- Go to the Reservations tab inside Whistle
- Narrow search by one of the following options;
- Search bar
- Type guest name, phone number or notes
- Filter by Segment (same list/recipients who receive set up automated messages)
- In-House (by Checked-in)
- In-House (by Arrival)
- In-House on Date
- Arriving Today
- Departing Today
- Arriving Tomorrow
- Departing Tomorrow
- Mid-Stay
- Arrival /Departure Date
- Select date of guest arrival or Select date of guest departure
- Search bar
Delete
- Go to the Reservations tab inside Whistle
- Narrow search by one of the following options;
- Search bar
- Filter by Segment
- Arrival / Departure Date
- Select the empty box icon to the left of guest details (select one or more)
- Click Delete Selected that appears at the top of page, ONLY click Delete All Reservations to clear ALL reservations stored in Whistle
- Click Confirm
Multi-Guest
If your hotel is using Whistle with a PMS (Property Management System) integration, then your Reservation data will automatically populate with all guests who are tied to a single reservation.
If you utilize Whistle by uploading guest data, then you are welcome to add additional guests to each reservation.
- Go to the Reservations tab inside Whistle
- Narrow search by one of the following options;
- Search bar
- Filter by Segment
- Arrival / Departure Date
- Select Guest reservation bar to open
- Next to the Guests section, click on the + (plus sign) icon
- New screen will appear, this will allow you to either search for an existing guest (if they've stayed with you before, or if you've imported their information) or you can click Create Guest
PMS Integration
- Go to the Company tab inside Whistle
- Select the Integrations section
- Click the Enable button next to your PMS and reach out to your PMS representative for next step on connecting.

- Narrow search by one of the following options;
- Search bar
- Filter by Segment
- Arrival / Departure Date
- Select the empty box icon to the left of guest details (select one or more)
- Click Start Conversations that appears at the top of page
- Select your message type (if you selected more than one guest only the Campaign and Survey option will be available)
